Dave Jungkind
Dave Jungkind serves as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Manager of Microelectronics at Frontgrade, where he is responsible for leading a broad portfolio of mission-critical space and defense technologies. In this role, he holds full profit and loss responsibility for mission processing, circuit card assemblies, application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), standard space products, and power subsystems. He joined Frontgrade in December 2025.
Jungkind is an experienced aerospace and defense executive with a strong track record of driving growth, scaling operations, and delivering mission-focused solutions across national security, civil, and commercial space markets. He brings deep expertise in aligning technology development with customer needs, executing complex programs, and building high-performing teams to deliver predictable, profitable growth.
Prior to joining Frontgrade, Jungkind served as Chief Revenue Officer and Special Programs Officer at Advanced Space, where he led company-wide growth strategy, space program execution, and business operations. He previously held senior leadership roles at Raytheon Technologies, where he led business development and strategy across multiple space business units, and at General Dynamics Mission Systems, where he managed a $150M space and avionics cryptographic portfolio with full P&L responsibility.
Earlier in his career, Jungkind spent over a decade at SEAKR Engineering, where he played a key role in transforming the business through sustained growth and product diversification. He began his career in engineering, reliability, and semiconductor distribution roles, including service in the United States Air Force.
Jungkind holds a Master of Engineering Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
