Frontgrade offers 32-bit Arm® Cortex-M0+ microcontrollers for space applications requiring high reliability and radiation tolerance, available in both plastic and ceramic packaging. For large-fleet, LEO, and short-duration missions, constellation-grade options are offered in ceramic or NASA PEM-INST-001 Level 2 plastic packaging. These lightweight devices share a common internal architecture and are screened using optimized flows to reduce cost while maintaining mission readiness.

For the highest mission assurance, devices are available in QML-Q and QML-Q+ flows with TID options ranging from 50 to 300 krad(Si). Targeted for distributed control and command applications, the microcontrollers integrate an analog front end, broad digital and communications support, and dual independent CAN 2.0B controllers for primary and redundant CAN topologies.

Built on the industry-standard Arm Cortex-M0+ core, these devices support a full ecosystem of Arm development and debug tools, including the Arm Keil® MDK and ULINK2 debugger. Multiple power-saving modes enable low-power designs, while the included software development kit—with APIs, drivers, and example code—helps accelerate product development.
