Product overview
The 59005333 module combines three independent non-isolated point-of-load converters in one package. Each converter has its own input, voltage-setting resistor connection, load-sense input, enable control and power-good output. All three channels share a common ground. Buck conversion with synchronous rectification supports local power rails, including ancillary supplies associated with high-performance FPGAs. Each channel provides configurable soft start and cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection. If a channel exceeds its current limit, it enters a hiccup mode until the fault is removed. The independent controls allow each rail to be configured within the datasheet limits.

More about this product
Product features
- Three independent converters with common ground
- Independent output programming and load sensing
- Per-channel enable and power-good signals
- Per-channel soft start and overcurrent protection
Configure three independent rails
Set each output with its own programming resistor and use its load-sense, enable and power-good signals for rail control. All channels are non-isolated and share a common ground.
Applications
- FPGA ancillary power rails
- Aerospace and space point-of-load power
Note: The tests were performed in accordance with the Defense Logistics Agency’s MIL-STD-883 Test Methods which included External Visual (2009), Internal Visual & Mechanical (2014), Temperature Cycling (1010), Constant Acceleration (2001), Random Vibration (2026), End-Point Electrical (in accordance with device specification), and Life Test (2009). Frontgrade is pursuing MIL-PRF-38534 Class L qualification with the Defense Logistics Agency, and QML approval is currently pending.
