Product overview

The SSPA 8.025-8.500-4 is a GaN amplifier developed for LEO satellite RF links that carry waveforms with a high peak-to-average ratio. The design includes an electronic power conditioner to regulate the spacecraft bus supply, a discrete amplifier-enable function and telemetry for RF power, input current and baseplate temperature. An SMA female input, TNC female output and Micro-D power/control connector support integration. The published configuration is vented. The source gives conflicting bandwidth and output-power descriptions, so those performance limits require confirmation.
