Product overview
The PSM28-SVPX converts an external 28 V power bus into regulated 12 V power for SpaceVPX systems. Its 3U module combines an unswitched supply output with six switched outputs, placing power conversion and distribution in one card. An onboard UT32M0R500 microcontroller manages switching and gathers voltage, current, and temperature telemetry through IPMI commands. The GaN-based design supports parallel operation with current sharing for configurations that require additional power. The preliminary datasheet defines EDU, FM4, and FM3 ordering options, allowing development hardware and flight builds to be selected for the intended mission.
