Product overview
The BEU8636-24 balances and monitors a battery containing 24 lithium-ion cells in series. Bilateral DC-DC converters connect the cells to a common share bus, distributing charge so that individual cell voltages approach the stack average. Cell and total-battery measurements support system telemetry, while discrete status outputs let the surrounding controller respond to critical voltage conditions. A MIL-STD-1553B interface carries measurements and commands. The unit also supports reconditioning-load switching and cell-bypass control. Its continuous balancing and monitoring functions can operate alongside the battery system’s charging and load-management controls.
