Product overview
The RHD5958 combines eight analog inputs with a 14-bit successive-approximation converter. Address and enable controls select the input, while external references define its measurement span. The digital output drivers support 3.3 V or 5 V interfaces and can enter a high-impedance state. Single-conversion and continuous modes let the acquisition sequence follow the system’s requirements. Busy and end-of-conversion outputs coordinate data transfer, and sleep control reduces activity between measurements. Screening and radiation assurance follow the exact ordering option. After waking from sleep, allow a full conversion cycle to initialize the internal logic before taking a meaningful reading.
