Product overview

The RHD5910 provides four high-speed comparators for continuous comparison of dynamic input signals. Each comparator behaves as a high-gain, open-loop amplifier with a digital output, accepting input signals within the included supply range. The design uses specific circuit topology and layout methods to mitigate ionizing-dose effects and single-event latchup. Inputs and outputs include diode protection, and the CMOS output stages tolerate momentary shorts. External feedback hysteresis is the designer’s responsibility where slow signals or small input differences could cause noise-driven output transitions. Screening and radiation assurance depend on the ordering option.
