Franz J. Dienes
Franz J. Dienes serves as Chief Information Officer, leading the execution of the company’s information technology operations.
Franz has led enterprise IT separation and stand-up initiatives for organizations such as Candescent, Simon & Schuster, and Lifescan, overseeing end-to-end transitions across infrastructure, applications, and security while ensuring operational readiness and business continuity. He has also played key advisory and interim CIO roles with private equity and corporate clients, guiding IT strategy for mergers, restructurings, and large-scale integrations. Early in his career, Franz served as Vice President of IT for Hawk Corporation, where he led global IT operations supporting manufacturing facilities across multiple countries, drove enterprise system implementations, and implemented cybersecurity and compliance programs.
Franz holds a Master of Accountancy and Financial Information Systems from Cleveland State University and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Rochester, along with a Certificate of Management Studies from the Simon Graduate School of Business Administration.
